She graduated from Mercy High School in San Francisco, where she was born. She later attended the University of California, Davis, and graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 1994. Kimberly worked as an intern at the San Francisco district attorney’s office and posed for Macy’s and a wedding magazine while in law school. She also worked as a prosecutor in San Francisco and taught in a public school system. Terence Hallinan was elected district attorney in 1996 and dismissed from the city’s prosecutors, therefore she lost her position.
