Sheridan Smith was reportedly “upset” backstage on a show this morning over being asked about the recent controversy surrounding her alleged sexist remarks. The singer, who is also pregnant and due to give birth in January, has been criticised for making comments during an interview with Jonathan Ross last week that many people have interpreted as suggesting women need men around to succeed.

Sheridan Smith made an appearance on Jonathan Ross’ long-running talk show this week, and was reportedly ‘upset’ backstage owing to a’misogynistic’ environment.
The performer, 40, was said to be ‘very upset’ when shooting concluded because she thought she had not been ‘treated with care.’
‘When scheduling the program, we are always careful to ensure we are diverse and inclusive to everybody,’ an ITV representative stated.
‘At all times, we treat our visitors with decency and respect,’ they stated.
According to The Sun, a representative for Jonathan Ross said, “Sheridan looked to have a fantastic time on the program” but “appeared to get agitated afterwards.”
‘Don’t worry, it’s not you,’ the singer is claimed to have remarked when presenter Jonathan enquired whether she was okay.

According to the spokesman, the program has promised to ‘examine quickly’ and hopes Sheridan understands they would ‘never take a report of this nature lightly.’
According to an unidentified insider, once the cameras stopped filming, the Gavin and Stacey actress was “extremely enraged” and “shouted at her staff.”
‘The environment was chauvinistic, and there was an aura of sexism,’ she allegedly stated.

The actress and singer joined Gary Barlow on the chat program to promote their new song, How Christmas Is Supposed To Be.
Gary’s Christmas record, which he claimed he was motivated to write after the epidemic disrupted everyone’s holidays last year, includes the duet.
Sheridan referred to Gary as her ‘icon,’ confessing that he was always her ‘favourite’ member of the successful boy band. The pair performed the single together, with Gary playing piano, after Sheridan referred to the Take That star as her ‘icon,’ confessing that he was always her ‘favourite’ member of the successful boy band.
Sheridan also spoke about becoming a mother during lockdown and how she hasn’t gotten much sleep since her 17-month-old son Billy was born during her appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show.
They ‘were wandering around like zombies and didn’t really know what day it was’ at first, she added, but owing to her ‘bundle of joy,’ they ‘were walking around like zombies and didn’t really know what day it was.’ ‘The good moments outweigh the bad.’
